Celebrating children´s diverse abilities

Introducing the second t.shirts capsule collection designed by the very special children of Garrigou Foundation and produced by Pepe Jeans for the SS17 season.

Pepe People Unlimited Fundacion Garrigou, Pepe Jeans London’s initiative to support children with different and special abilities through a series of non-government organisation (NGO) collaborations. Designed and created with passion and joy, the first team-up is a capsule T-shirt capsule collection with the Garrigou Foundation, whose aim is to provide children with the best quality education possible.

A series of drawing workshops took place in the first encounter with a children’s storyteller who invited the children of the Garrigou Foundation to create a mural of creative design as the story began to unfold and its colourful characters introduced. The drawings were digitalised in preparation for the second workshop: stamping and serigraphy – the children seeing their drawings come to life for the FW16 Pepe People Unlimited Fundación Garrigou T-shirt collection.

The third workshop of the Pepe Jeans People Unlimited project was celebrated last October with around 30 kids involved.

Colour! Music! Paint! Creativity! Joy! That was what is was all about.

And the result? The drawings from this new encounter with NGO Garrigou Foundation´s children are now  reflected in a colorful SS17 Pepe People new t.shirts capsule collection.
