The Kooples and Richard Orlinski push back together the limits of Fashion and Art. The successful sculptor and the Parisian fashion label collaborate for an exclusive capsule collection infused with street influences. The world’s best-selling contemporary artist co-designs around twenty masculine pieces offered in limited edition and brings to this collection his energy as well as his creative signature. Richard Orlinski opens an artistic dialogue with Alexandre Elicha, Artistic Director for The Kooples menswear. Together they reinvent the skullhead, the iconic symbol of the Parisian label that becomes more rebel than ever in its new spectacular dimensions as a faceted sculpture presented.

in exclusivity in selected The Kooples stores. This capsule collection also includes costume jewels and a high-top sneakers model, faithful to the urban and pop-art style of Richard Orlinski. The cut lines of the skullhead become a piece of art as well as an iconic element of this capsule collection when declined in a rubber version for a futuristic touch. The multicolored graffiti that recently appeared on the artist’s roaring panthers, crocodiles and other ‘Wild Kongs‘ are also part of this limited edition capsule collection. Just like tags the artist’s words such as ‘Born Wild’, ‘Love’, ‘Free’ or ‘Too Young To Die’ give to the 90’s starter jackets, t-shirts, sweats and biker jackets an unprecedented allure as a tribute to the brand impertinent personality. The Kooples attention to details is still strong: skullhead buttons in silver metal and studs remind us of an on-trend wardrobe that celebrates the fusion between two anti-conformist spirits and their well-established codes.
To celebrate this encounter between Fashion and Art the windows of the House will be revisited in the colours of this unique collaboration and The Kooples’ logo will take an urban touch imagined by the artist.
